Oakville Lodge № 400
Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario
The Town of Oakville and Freemasonry have a long history together. The Town’s founding citizen, William Chisholm, was also a dedicated Mason who was instrumental in establishing the Oakville Lodge. Our members are proud of our past and the rich traditions that unite Lodge and Community continue to this day.
For centuries, millions of men of every race, colour, creed, and political persuasion have discovered that Freemasonry provides a foundation to guide them on their search for answers to eternal questions. Any man who becomes a Mason is taught a pattern for living that includes reverence, morality, kindness, honesty, dependability and compassion. He must be prepared to honour his country, uphold its laws and respect those in authority. He must be prepared to maintain honourable relations with others and be willing to share in Masonic activities. In other words, Freemasonry is a way of life.

Message from the Worshipful Master
It gives me great pleasure as master of Oakville Lodge to greet you and invite you to peruse the most recent iteration of the Lodge website. I also extend the gratitude of the whole of Oakville Lodge to our Website Committee; who have done a superb job putting this website together.
This is more than a collection of facts and photos. The Lodge thus represented is a vibrant, active group of men who meet to enjoy each other’s company and work to improve themselves. You may follow the various links to reveal more of life as a Mason. We look forward to hearing from you so we can tell you more about our great fraternity.
With all Best Wishes,
W. Bro. Hanson, FCF
